The SNEHA Annual Report – outlining the activities and achievements of each programme within the organisation in the past year. Though this document provides factual data, the need was felt to stress on the domino effect this work will eventually have on society as a whole - the small steps that will transform communities and the lives of their members. We scoured the internet for the words of great thinkers and workers in the fields of public health, social welfare and politics - all of whom spoke of the importance of grassroot-level work. These quotes began each chapter – setting the tone for the information to come.
